Outdoor Hike Cardio – Fat Burning & A Peaceful Mind
Cardio doesn't have to be boring. You don't need to lock yourself to a treadmill and run in a boring gym for endless hours. Make cardio fun, get in the sun, the rain, do things you like doing and move. Get outdoors and go sight seeing on a hike!
The bottom line is - low intensity cardio on a treadmill, stair climber, elliptical etc is just exercise, so as long as you are moving and expending energy it doesn't matter what type of exercise you are doing so why not spend the time doing something fun.
The bonus of hiking outdoors is that not only are you having a work out for your body but your mind is having wholesome therapy at the same time.
The Benefits of Hiking
Hiking has a number of benefits, you will be breathing in fresh air, looking at different views, wild life, getting vitamin D from the sunlight.
